Learn about our Gemstones

The majority of our main stones (centre stones) are premium DEF (colourless) with VVS1 clarity Moissanite.

Moissanite is a lab-created stone. NOT a synthetic diamond or cubic zirconia, it's an entirely separate gemstone that is naturally occurring, though very rare, so Moissanite available today is laboratory-created.

Moissanite with its beauty and durability is incredibly well suited for fine jewellery and everyday wear.

Why choose Moissanite as Main Stone?

Moissanite vs. Diamdond

Moissanite is...

  1. Durable
  2. Tough
  3. Extremely resistant to scratching and abrasion
  4. More brilliance and fire compared to diamond and more AFFORDABLE!

Hardess of Moissanite is at 9.25/10 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.

Moissanite is harder than all other gemstones except diamond.

They also show an incredible amount of brilliance and fire due to their high refractive index score of 2.65-2.69, which is higher than a diamond. So if you are looking for sparkle, Moissanite is a great or even better choice!

Ultimately this does not mean that one is better or superior compared to the other but it is important to understand the feautures of different Gemstones.

What kind of Stones do we use?

These are our most commonly used Gemstones in our portfolio.
